To our family of patients and their families, friends, neighbors, and co-workers,
I hope this message finds you well amid the events surrounding the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. I want to assure you of my commitment to your health and well-being, and keep you updated on our office decisions. I am closely following updates and best practices posted by the ADA, CDC, WHO, and Ohio Dental Association to stay well-informed about this evolving situation.
As of March 16th, 2020, at the recommendation of the Ohio State Dental Board, we are limiting treatment in our office to emergencies and clinically urgent dentistry until further notice. This allows us to help limit the potential spread of the virus, conserve personal protective equipment for those on the front lines, but also helps divert patients seeking urgent dental care from the already strained emergency departments. For patients with already scheduled appointments in the coming weeks, we will be reaching out to you as the weeks progress to reschedule your appointment during a time when our office resumes normal operation. Thank you for your understanding and patience as this is an ever-evolving situation and we are taking it week by week.
My obligation to the patients in this community is still a priority, and thus I want to do everything I can to make sure I help you in any way that I can during this time. If you or anyone you know has a dental emergency, even if they are not an existing patient, I want to make myself available to you. Additionally, for those at high-risk or who prefer not to risk leaving their home, I am offering virtual consultations as an alternative. Please call our office or click the 'Book Online' button to schedule either an in-office or virtual emergency appointment.
Wishing you continued health,
Dr. Katelyn Miller
